How do you define success?
How do you look at mistakes and errors?

… exactly … it is a question of definition and interpretation.

A short research leads to the definition of a “fuckup” as a serious or severe mistake. A quick look at history of the word “failure” shows that the origin of its meaning was “non-occurrence”, it’s use changed over time.

Looking at the word FAIL as an acronym is my choice:

FAIL = First Attempt In Learning

Innovation im Unterricht

Im Deutschunterricht werden in Japan nicht nur die Sprache vermittelt, sondern viel mehr als das. Kultur, Persönlichkeit, Geschichte, Lernmethoden und Lernwege, Konzepte und Denkweisen.
Das ist zwar viel mehr als Deutschunterricht, aber man bemüht sich eben doch einen Unterschied zu machen!

Chez Haruka ist ein Beispiel für eine Videoproduktion im Deutschunterricht. Ein sehr gelungenes Beispiel.

Jetzt startet ein japanweiter Wettbewerb, bei dem die Anwendung digitaler Medien im Unterricht unterstützt und auch prämiert wird. Lernen auch mal für die Lehrenden! Oder einfach Learning by Doing, wie es so schön auf Deutsch heisst. Eines ist sicher: Mitmachen macht sicher Spass. Details dazu hier
