Where to start?

I feel like in this picture sometimes, frozen by choices – in a twofold meaning.

What should I focus on?

I just answer this question from a friend without even thinking. While doing so I realized that I am asking myself the same question for so long already and do not have an answer.

I am getting great feedback when I do this. … Actually I do not offer what people ask me. Well, maybe I should. But there is also this … which I really enjoy doing. Hmmm …

Here is my answer:

I recommend you to answer yourself the following questions:

What do you like to do best and at the same time, what do you already have prepared to serve those request you get?

Many times we forget the answers to this question because we do not feel that we are actually doing work. We just do it. Other people can answer you this question in a flash. Asking others around you to answer.

If you do not have others to ask, try this trick to ask yourself like this:

1. What is the easiest for you to deliever?
2. Is the answer to question 1. in your genius / purpose?
3. If yes, go for it. If no, take the next one in line and answer the same questions.

Seit ein paar Monaten habe die Ehre und Möglichkeit, mit 3 musikalischen Künstlern und sehr interessanten Individuun zu arbeiten.

Es entsteht ein Projekt … das junge Talente fördern wird. Das Komponistentrio macht das heute schon, möchte die jungen Stimmen so richtig zur Geltung kommen lassen.

Ein Projekt auf die Beine bringen kostet viel Energie, … es gibt immer wieder Rückschläge, vor allem wenn es anfänglich keinen direkten Rückfluss für die investierte Arbeit gibt.

Doch ehrenamtliche Leistungen sind die Basis unserer Gesellschaft und der Anfang vieler Erfolgsgeschichten. Projekte werden erwachsen und stark, sie werden ausgezeichnet, wenn ein Tiefpunkt auch überwunden werden kann.

An so einem Tiefpunkt – auf den Wind warten … helfen die 15:24 Minuten mit Adam Grant, zu verstehen, wie solche “Original thinkers”, wie Ihr selbst seid, funktionieren …

 

Die Frühling ist da und bringt neue Energie …

Sick of working alone? In need of an office?

Looking for an office is not what it used to be.

If you rephrase the question or task at hand, depending on how you define this for yourself, it can be reworded to looking for a desk, a shared office or in new terms a co-working space.

As an EPU in Austria – EPU stands for Ein Personen Unternehmen which is a OPC One-Person-Company – finding a place to work in an office setting rather than in a coffee house or at home.

It is not only a step ahead if you do not work in your pajamas any more, but brings a manifold set of advantages:

• lower costs than your own office
• other goal-oriented people to talk to
• a community of people who are potentially a network
• motivation, entrepreneurial spirit and drive … which could very well be the most important factor of all

Community creates momentum
